On September 16 and 18, we will NOT meet in our regular classrooms. Instead, we will meet outside the football stadium, in front of the new gator statue just across the street from Engineering. We will be taken on a guided tour of the new stadium additions and skyboxes. The tour will depart precisely at 10:40. If you are late, you will miss it. That day leave another class a bit early if you have to but do NOT be late. You will not want to miss this.Posted September 4: As a new student, you are REQUIRED by UF policy to take the alcohol awareness on-line training and PASS the associated exam. If you do not, you will have a registration hold put on your record and you can not take spring classes until you take the course and pass the exam. From the main page of this website, click on the link for "FYF Workshop Success Series". The, on the left, access the "New Student Alcohol" link. Follow the instructions for accessing the course and exam. Remember, this is NOT optional. You MUST do it by UF policy. You might as well get on this and get it out of the way.Posted September 5: Two items due next week for both sections: (1) the two tracking audits viewed from degree shopping along with your journal about the tracking criteria in each, and (2) your typed resume.I will change the student being profiled on the website each Tuesday. Make sure you, especially the Thursday section, send your email to them before Tuesday of each week.
